Founder John Fowler started in 1970 in the insurance industry as producer with Aetna in Albany. In 1991 he formed Windgate Insurance Agency, Inc where he and his wife Sandy built the agency and kept its location in the New Windsor area.

Current President Nicholas Podias started in 1995 as a life insurance agent in New York City working for Mutual of New York until later that year he joined Windgate Insurance Agency, Inc as a producer and purchasing it in 2019.

Account manager/broker Kim Gabriello has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry in marketing, sales, product knowledge and specializing in commercial products.
